For the past 25 years, I have had the privilege of being an educator at Schuylerville CSD. I currently teach 5th grade, the grade level I have taught the longest, and have also enjoyed teaching 1st grade and science. I am proud to serve as the chair of our Effective Schools Team.

One of my longtime goals is to finally bring the dream of a school garden to life after many years of planning and dreaming! I love creating opportunities for students to learn through hands-on experiences and connect with the natural world.

Outside of school, I live in Ballston Spa with my husband and two children. We are a family of animal lovers, sharing our home with two dogs, a cat, many reptiles, and 16 chickens. I am excited to combine my love of teaching, nature, and animals to help make a school garden a reality!
