Volunteer: Work to Learn

At Pitney Meadows Community Farm, we believe in the power of community and the hands that help us grow. When you raise your hand, you’re not just offering your time, you’re contributing to the vision of a vibrant, sustainable farm that serves our community.

Volunteers like you come from all walks of life, bringing energy, care, and a shared love for the land. Whether you're helping in the garden, supporting events, or sharing your unique skills, every hand makes a difference. Together, we nurture not only the soil but the spirit of our community.

We offer a range of volunteer opportunities that are as educational as they are impactful. Join us in growing something special... raise your hand and get involved today!

Join Our Community Crew!

Our Community Crew is a welcoming, hands-on way to get involved at the farm, whether you join Community Crew: Farm or Community Crew: Garden. These consistent volunteer days invite folks to show up, dig in, and lend a hand alongside our team, helping care for the land while building connection, skills, and community.

2026 Trained + Recurring Volunteers (TRVs)

Trained and Recurring Volunteers (TRVs) make a seasonal volunteer commitment to be a steady, trusted part of the Pitney Meadows Community. They show up consistently, share in the work, and help care for the land alongside our team and community.

Because this role includes added commitment, training, and responsibility, it comes with an invitation to our annual “Out Standing in Their Field Celebration” and recognition throughout the season in appreciation of your contributions.
