Shane Zanetti

Shane Zanetti is a Saratoga native who was raised to love his city and community. Shane and all of his siblings returned to Saratog to raise their families. Shane’s wife Alex, their twin boys Benny and Cooper, and dogs, Rocky and Ollie love everything this community has to offer.

Shane is a Social Studies teacher and the boys Cross Country and Track coach at Saratoga Springs High School for over a decade. As an educator, he believes strongly in the role of servant leadership, and working hard every day to guide his students and athletes to being the best people they can be.

Pitney Meadows Community Farm and its mission align perfectly with his love of our local community and his philosophy as an educator. The farm exists to elevate the health and wellness of so many people in the Saratoga area. He is particularly passionate about the opportunities the farm offers people to enjoy healthy outdoor activities in a safe and beautiful setting. Personally, and professionally, the farm has allowed the athletes Shane coaches to achieve their goals, as it is the home to our NYS Cross Country Championship team! It is his hope that he can help the farm to continue to meet it's mission and grow as a servant leader in our community for years to come.
