Liz

Liz serves as Community Compost Coordinator at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, supporting the Farm’s community compost initiative in partnership with Sustainable Saratoga. With a strong interest in sustainability, regenerative systems, and community-centered environmental education, she works to help divert local food waste while fostering greater public engagement with composting and soil health.

As a longtime member of the Pitney Meadows community garden, Liz values the Farm’s mission of growing food, community, and connection through accessible, hands-on engagement with the natural world. Her work includes compost system maintenance, volunteer coordination, participant communication, and public education efforts related to sustainable waste practices.

In her free time, Liz enjoys hiking, birding, gardening, and exploring the outdoors with her two children.
