Hope

Hope LaBonty is an environmental scientist, land steward, and Owner/CEO of Loving Earth Compost LLC. With a background in Environmental Science, Sustainable Horticulture, Composting, and Soil Biology, her work centers on healthy soils, regenerative agriculture, and community resilience.

As an Aquinnah Wampanoag woman, Hope brings an Indigenous lens to stewardship—grounded in reciprocity, relationship with the land, and caring for it for future generations. She currently stewards a 54-acre farm in Washington County with her family and is grateful to bring her experience and perspective to the Pitney Meadows Stewardship Committee.
