Dexter

Dexter Senft spent 42 years on Wall Street as a senior manager and quantitative finance specialist at various banks. He retired in 2015 from Morgan Stanley after building their electronic trading business in fixed income and foreign exchange. He also managed their portfolio of strategic investments, totaling roughly $1 billion.

Dexter is a 1974 graduate of Rice University in Mathematics, Mathematical Sciences and Economics. He helped found their Center for Computational Financial and Economic Systems and has lectured at their conferences as well as at their business school.

During his career, Dexter served on dozens of boards, both for profit and non-profit. He currently serves as a Trustee of The National Museum of Mathematics.

He and his wife Deborah moved to Saratoga Springs in 2017. They love all its performing arts and can often be spotted in one venue or another. Dexter’s hobbies include tournament bridge, aviation, words, and carpentry projects where 1/8 inch is close enough.
