Danielle

Fund Development Director

Danielle Brown serves as Fund Development Director at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, where she leads fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and community partnerships to support the farm’s long-term sustainability and impact.

With a background in nonprofit development, marketing, and community engagement, Danielle is passionate about connecting people to purpose and building meaningful pathways for giving. Her work is grounded in a commitment to increasing equitable access to resources, education, and opportunities that strengthen individuals and communities alike. She has spent her career helping mission-driven organizations grow through meaningful storytelling, inclusive fundraising, and strong community relationships.

Danielle has a deep love for community and has been actively involved in service throughout the region. She has served on the board of the Glens Falls Symphony and volunteered with Open Door Mission, and she is always eager to lend a hand—whether through local clean-up days or other opportunities that bring people together.

Originally from Long Island, Danielle grew up vacationing in Lake George and developed a lasting connection to the region. After earning her B.A. in Communications Studies from SUNY Cortland, Danielle decided to make that connection permanent, moving to the region to raise her family and enjoy all that the Adirondacks, Lake George, and Saratoga have to offer.

Prior to joining Pitney Meadows, Danielle served as the Development Manager at the Lake George Association and the Director of Alumni Relations and Annual Giving at SUNY Adirondack.
