The Saratogian: Community Gardens may grow at Pitney Meadows Community Farm

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. >> Pitney Meadows Community Farm is preparing for its second year.

During the first year of the farm, the Board of Directors built a 50-bed community gardens and a high-tunnel greenhouse to serve as a large event space. On Saturday, from noon until 8 p.m. at Artisanal Brew Works at 41 Geyser Road, Pitney Meadows Winter Social will provide an opportunity for the public to connect with volunteers as well as hear from Board of Directors about potential initiatives for the year 2018.
