About Being A Volunteer
As we work to build the vision of our farm in the city, we are indebted to our volunteers who come from all walks of life, giving their time, energy, and care. We strive to offer educational volunteer opportunities throughout the year.
Please fill out our volunteer intake form so that we can learn about you and plug you into specific projects that match your interests and talents.
If you have specific questions, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at [email protected].
Corporate Volunteer Opportunities
As stewards of this legendary landscape, we are honored to partner with neighbors and stakeholders who offer their time and talents in support of our mission. We welcome inquiries from volunteer groups.
Outdoor volunteer opportunities are available between April and October. Possible activities include planting, weeding, harvesting, light carpentry, and cleaning. Volunteers work closely with our staff, and all necessary equipment and instruction is provided. Activities can be tailored to accommodate the size of your group and participants’ particular skills or fitness levels.
All volunteer groups must be scheduled in advance. Date and project availability varies throughout the year. All volunteers must sign a waiver before participating. Please contact [email protected] to discuss your corporate volunteer opportunity.
Professional Infrastructure Opportunities
Occasionally we seek the assistance of local builders, contractors, engineers and others for infrastructure projects. Currently, we are seeking assistance hanging our heaters inside of our High Tunnel. We offer social media, newsletter, and website coverage of all donated services as well as PR outreach. Please contact Ken Kleinpeter, our Director, if your team is able to assist: [email protected]

Tech Wish List
As a new and growing organization, we have some basic technology needs that would help us get more done. Check out our tech wish list and let us know if you have any equipment to donate.
