The Michael J Pitney Farm 5K Returns October 8th!
We are pleased to announce the running of the 2nd Michael Pitney Memorial 5k (8:00am) and Youth Fun Run (9:00am) at Pitney Meadows Community Farm in Saratoga Springs. The Youth and Community races will be held in conjunction with the Saratoga XC Invitational (start 9:30am). The community races will be held before the high school meets begins. All proceeds from the races will benefit the trails at Pitney Meadows Community Farm.
The races will be held the morning of Saturday, October 8, 2022 on the beautiful Pitney Meadows Community Farm. The course is a mixed surface 5km course and will be run entirely on grass and stone dust trail surfaces The 5km course will include a blend of dirt and grass road, along with extensive stone dust trails The course is primarily flat with some gentle rolling along the trails, there are no road crossings, and the trails are wide and smooth. The course offers open field viewing of the start and finish areas. The course is spectator friendly, and will offer participants and spectators alike, a laid-back running atmosphere with beautiful scenery, public address, food, and music!
