At The Shepherd’s Hearth, we elevate the sacred art of cooking with flame. We believe that food is life and should be treated with integrity and reverence. We are a hyper-local, hyper-seasonal mobile open-fire kitchen creating curated, bespoke Gatherings. As long-time farmers ourselves, we know good practices and we take the time to connect with the farmers we work with. We source the best we can, as close as we can to our events. Our Chef, Jesse Kaufman, lived in Brazil for 14 years and is adept in the traditions of Churrasco and Asado. Now, living in Vermont, Jesse has become passionate about showcasing Vermont’s Farmers and their unique Terroir.
