Michael J. Pitney Farm Run

We are pleased to announce the 6th Annual Michael J. Pitney Farm Run 5K and Youth Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Pitney Meadows Community Farm in Saratoga Springs, NY!

5K Run: 9:00am
Youth Fun Run: 10:00am

The Pitney Meadows races will be held in conjunction with the Saratoga XC Invitational, bringing a full morning of running and community to the farm.

All proceeds from the Michael J. Pitney Farm Run will benefit Pitney Meadows Community Farm.

Set against the beautiful landscape of Pitney Meadows, the 5K course features a mix of grass and stone dust trails. The course is primarily flat, with gentle rolling sections, wide and smooth trails, and no road crossings. With open sightlines around the start and finish, the course is easy for spectators to enjoy and offers a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere for runners of all ages and experience levels.

All proceeds from the races benefit Pitney Meadows Community Farm's mission and programming.

This race honors the memory of Michael J. Pitney, an outdoor enthusiast whose love for nature continues to inspire those who explore the trails at Pitney Meadows. His legacy lives on through the 1.7-mile trail loop at Pitney Meadows, named in his honor, where visitors can experience the same sense of adventure and connection to nature that Michael cherished.
