Celebrate Earth Day 2022 with Pitney Meadows!
Celebrate Earth Day with us and help the Farm get ready for the season! We are having a family-friendly spring clean up for all ages on April 23rd from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Below is a snapshot of some of the jobs we need assistance with:
- Help us ready the flower beds around the farm by cleaning up the old plants and preparing them for new flowers.
- We will be breaking ground on our new Exploration Garden. This garden will feature pollinator habitat, an herb spiral, and be the new home of the kids' garden club. Help us move sod and prepare the ground for new plantings.
- There will also be jobs in the Fields during our Spring Clean Up. Come help us get them ready for planting, or work in the greenhouse and clean out the winter greens.
