Welcome Our New Board Members!

The Farm welcomes Cathy Allen and Nicole Barry as our Board’s newest directors.

Cathy Allen, a 40-year resident of Saratoga, is owner of real-estate-investment business CPR Properties, LLC. She is a longtime member of nonprofit boards and an advocate and volunteer for a variety of causes for the good of the community, such as the Saratoga Springs Open Space Project. Nichole Barry represents our Next Generation on the Board. She is a Skidmore College senior studying Anthropology and Environmental Science, and a passionate student of food justice issues. As an intern at Pitney Meadows, Nicole has researched the relationship between farms and food pantries, especially during the time of Covid-19. Our work to supply food to the local food pantries has been a focus of her research, which includes demographic and usage information that will help us better understand and continue to improve this important work.
