Kate
Environmental Educator
Kate was first introduced to Environmental Education as a student at Skidmore, and immediately fell in love with the process of learning and teaching about the natural world. Since then, Kate has worked at a wildlife preserve, as a lab assistant, a researcher, and at a rock climbing gym, but after graduation in 2024, her first job out of college was Food Sovereignty Intern at Pitney Meadows.
Over the course of her internship, she grew a newly profound connection with the farm, her community, and her hometown of Saratoga Springs, and is excited to be back for another season of learning, sharing, and growing.
In her spare time, Kate is an avid rock climber, swimmer, artist, and enjoyer of a good bowl of soup.
