Dear Community,

As we reflect on 2023 at Pitney Meadows Community Farm, it's with immense pride and gratitude that we share the impact we've collectively made on this ever-evolving community project.

The farm has become that vital space between work and home, re-establishing connections that are often lost in our fast-paced, sometimes disconnected world. Some call this “the third place.” Through the dedication of our community gardeners, visitors, students, volunteers, team members, and Board members, we've not only worked to alleviate food insecurity, but also buoyed spirits by helping the community find access to the beauty of nature and our rich biodiversity, and linked arms with local farmers and producers to bring the power of local food systems to the fore.

Our vision remains unwavering as we step into 2024—fostering a dynamic, inclusive, and resilient community. Together, we embark on innovative endeavors to sustain agriculture and sow the seeds of a more vibrant, compassionate, spirited, and interconnected community. The "third place" at Pitney Meadows is not just a physical location; it's a mindset—a shared commitment to thriving together.

We express our deepest gratitude to all who have contributed to this journey, and we eagerly anticipate the continued growth, connection, and impact in the coming year.

With gratitude and excitement for the journey ahead,
