Fall Youth Programs at the Farm

We have two new programs to offer our younger explorers for the Fall 2021 season!

For our middle school aged kids, we are proud to introduce our After School Harvest Cooking Club. In this program, kids will explore the Farm and Garden grounds, participate in cooking fresh food with produce that they harvest from our fields and build their kitchen skills through cooking and baking. This program runs every Wednesday beginning October 6th through October 27th and costs $160 per child.

For our younger explorers, ages 8 to 13, we have our Weekend Farm Explorers Program. This is an outdoor exploration youth program that takes place throughout the 166 acres of the Pitney Meadows Community Farm. Each session will have a different seasonal theme and include investigations of the land and its plants and animals, as well as keeping a seasonal nature journal and using the harvest to create crafts, snacks and teas! This is a free program, thanks to The Christopher Dailey Foundation!

Please email our Education Director, Sarah, at Sarah.Miles@pitnyemeadows.org to register for either of these programs.
