Ken brings extensive farming experience from the Hudson Valley Region with both for profit and nonprofit operations. He was a founding partner at Hollow Road Farms, the first integrated sheep dairy farm in the United States. He later managed The Old Chatham Sheepherding Company, a 1,000 ewe sheep dairy farm and cheesemaking operation. He was the Genetics Director for the nonprofit Heritage Breed Conservancy and then served for 13 years as VP of Operations at Glynwood Center, a large agriculture nonprofit in Cold Spring, NY, which featured a 200 acre vegetable and livestock working farm and an extensive range of programs. Ken also worked as a consultant for USAID on projects in Bosnia and Macedonia.
