Jim worked for a coffee company his entire career. When he retired, he knew he didn't want his legacy to be "I made a better cup of coffee" so he started volunteering at a non-profit organization. Jim's first role was at an historic family farm that was purchased by the Town and turned over to a non-profit to manage - in Wilton, CT. That farm become an iconic fixture and one of the Town's treasures. When he moved to Saratoga in 2014 and became aware of Pitney Meadows Community Farm, he already knew what this "project" could mean to the City and its residents: connecting the community - especially the kids - with the land and the area's agrarian past through hands-on educational programming and community activities. Jim is excited to be a part of the Farm vision as we move the farm forward in the years to come.
