Cathy Allen

Born and raised in New Jersey, Cathy moved to Saratoga Springs to join Key Bank’s Management Training Program upon graduating from Colgate University with a B.A. in Economics. She was drawn to this area for its beauty and quality of life.

Desiring to spend more time with her children and become more actively involved within the community, Cathy left the banking career she enjoyed to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities including her real estate investment business, CPR Properties, LLC.

During her 40 years as a resident, Cathy has continuously served with multiple nonprofits and boards, along with advocating, volunteering and fundraising for a variety of causes for the good of the community.

As a supporter of land preservation and its associated benefits to the community, Cathy learned about the Pitney Farm during her tenure on the Saratoga Springs Open Space Project’s Board of Directors in the 1990s. “I’m so thankful to see the dream to preserve the Pitney Farm become a reality, and I’m honored to assist with and promote all Pitney Meadows Community Farm has to offer to the community.”
