Fall Fun at Ponies, Pumpkins & Pies

STAN HUDY/Daily Gazzette

We welcomed witches, horses dressed as lions, and all kinds of costumed fall fun at our October 25 Ponies, Pumpkins & Pies event, partnered with our friends at the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation. Visitors toured the farm from a safe social distance in their vehicles while seeing some amazing kids and adults from North Country Horses and their beautiful equines, got to pick up gorgeous pumpkins and gourds, from the Farm, Snook Kill Farms, the Farm Stand at Tiashoke, and Koval Brothers Dairy. And the tour ended with scrumptious pies from Mourningkill Farm and Bake Shop.

We thank everyone who joined us. The proceeds from the event will help support the Recreational Trails Program at Pitney Meadows, and support TRF’s wonderful adoption, retirement, rescue, and Second Chances programs for thoroughbreds (visit trfinc.org).
