Community Offerings
“Community Workshops” offer the chance to gain new skills or understanding in growing plants and fungi, identifying weeds & managing invasive plants, landscaping with native trees & shrubs, preserving the harvest, composting, saving seeds and much more!
Learn new recipes and ways to enjoy our local, fresh produce in our monthly “Harvest Cooking Classes” during the summer and fall, where you get to make and taste new dishes with fresh ingredients right from our fields!
“Community Supported Conversations” is our monthly program centered around an annual theme. 2022’s theme is Stewardship. We aim to create the space for us to connect with ideas and each other and involve experts, authors, and community organizations and leaders to help guide our conversations. Programs will include panel discussions, documentary screening and chat, and speakers.
Our Floral Arts program includes bouquet making for fresh and dried flowers, flower pressing and flower crown creation.
A Guided Harvest with one of our farm employees instructs you through a weekly harvest in our fields. Our harvest guides will share insight into the growing systems at the farm and instruct on the best techniques for harvesting and selecting the ripest fruits and vegetables to pick!
“Recreation & Wellness” opportunities at the Farm include movement or nature-based activities and products to help support your health and happiness. Explore and deepen a connection with the natural world, self and community through activities such as mindfulness & meditation, making herbal teas and sauves, yoga, birding and more.
